Readings

Each Tuesday, we will have a 20-30 minute discussion on one or more of the articles in your Art of Fact.  Most of the articles are only a few pages long and are actually quite interesting.

For one of the readings, you are to bring in a list of five questions to ask the class.  They need to be thought-provoking and require more than just a "yes" or "no" answer.  One of the questions will need to show that you are connecting this text to the larger concepts being discussed in your Anchor and Discourse class.

Participating in a Class Discussion:

You need to earn 150 points by the end of the semester.  Bellow are the ways you can earn points:

·      5 points—making a relevant comment during the discussion
·      +5 points—if your comment references a direct quote

·      -5 points—failure to bring physical copy of the text to class (for the first few weeks then +5 if you bring it)

The first one will not be in the book.
